We don’t have any curtains hung yet, so we made this little banner as a temporary solution..I also got a chance to clean up the mudroom a bit and make it feel a little more seasonally appropriate.. You’ve heard of cheap and cheerful?I call this cheap, ugly, and cheerful.
I know it’s really not something I would usually like at all, but the bright colours still make me feel a little happier when I see them.There’s more too, but I’ll spare you!.

Thanks for touring with me!Well, Spring Break is here and we’ve got the weather to match!A few pillows, some little jars and stuff, but not as much as I thought I would find.. Maybe it’s not such a big trend after all, but the few times I’ve seen the design used, it’s caught my eye.
So I took a few minutes and made my own!.I took an old metal bucket that I’d previously disfigured when I tried to paint it in a brown and white buffalo check a few years ago.
That didn’t work out, but this one did!.Step one was to paint a little beige craft paint where I wanted the cross.
